Festive Snacks

The first thing I happened to notice during the 4th of July weekend was the delightful patriotic snack that was featured at the All Star Music resort. It was not only cute, but it was also incredibly delicious!

I don’t know for certain, but I assume that other resorts across the area likely offered their own festive snacks to celebrate the holiday as well.

TIP! When visiting during the holiday, keep your eye out for Festive Snacks!

Patriotic Fireworks

The number one reason to visit the parks during the 4th of July holiday is undoubtedly to experience the spectacular fireworks displays!

We had the pleasure of enjoying both shows that were available at Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

They also illuminated the iconic castle and the Epcot ball in vibrant red, white, and blue, which added that extra special touch of pride and patriotism to our visit.

TIP! When planning your visit be sure to check for firework times and locations.

Party Time

The festivities certainly did not end at Magic Kingdom once the spectacular fireworks display was over!

In fact, the party had just begun! We were able to find a variety of entertainment throughout the park including lively music and dancing.

Extended Hours

Different Disney parks offer extended hours on certain days throughout the year, providing guests with additional opportunities to experience the magic.

During the wonderful 4th of July weekend, we were fortunate enough to take advantage of that unique schedule! The extended hours allowed us to enjoy extra time to ride our favorite attractions at Magic Kingdom and truly savor the enchanting atmosphere of the night.

TIP! During your Forth of July trip, be sure to check for extended park hours and plan accordingly!

Weather

Florida is widely recognized for its hot and humid climate, which can sometimes feel quite extreme. The months of June through September are typically regarded as the HOTTEST months of the year, bringing with them high temperatures and sweltering humidity.

Not to mention, this period coincides with hurricane season, and the skies often unleash afternoon thunderstorms.

To help you navigate these challenging weather conditions, here are a few essential tips:

  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day

  • Stay shaded using a UV-protected umbrella that works great for unexpected rain showers as well

  • Wear moisture-wicking, dry-fit clothing to keep yourself feeling cool and dry

  • Plan to visit indoor attractions and shows whenever possible

  • Utilize the Lightning Lane to significantly reduce wait times during those hot days

  • Finally, make sure to apply sunscreen regularly to protect your skin from damaging UV rays

There you have it! That was our wonderful experience during the exciting 4th of July holiday weekend at Disney World! It was a fantastic time filled with fun and laughter. 10/10 RECOMMEND!
